Narcotics Division

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit is a specialized unit of trained Agents tasked with investigating individuals involved in the illicit “Drug Trade”. 

The Agents specialize primarily in investigating individuals who:

  • – Grow

  • – Possess

  • – Deal

  • – Distribute

  • – Use Drugs Illegally

Agents are also tasked with ABC inspections and investigating violations of establishments that serve alcohol, as well as investigating violations of law to include prostitution, gambling, and any other Vice related crimes.

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit is currently comprised of:

– One Commander

– One Lieutenant

– One Sergeant

– Three Agents

Community Service

Aside from Investigations, Agents are responsible for the disposal of seized controlled substances, providing specialized training about controlled substances, and talking with concerned citizens when called upon.
